NON-EXCLUSIVE LICENSE

A non-exclusive license allows your brand to use one of my designs on your products while I retain full copyright ownership and all underlying rights. With this type of license, the artwork remains available for other companies to license simultaneously, and it may also continue to appear on platforms where it’s already offered to the public (such as Spoonflower or Society6). This option is ideal for brands that want access to high-quality designs without the added cost of exclusivity, and it allows the artwork to live across multiple markets and audiences.

INDUSTRY EXCLUSIVE LICENSE

An industry-exclusive license grants your brand sole rights to use a specific design within one defined product category. This means the artwork is reserved exclusively for your industry—such as Children’s Apparel, Home Textiles, or Stationery—for the duration of our agreement.

While your category remains protected, I retain full copyright ownership and may continue licensing the design for use in other, unrelated industries. All terms—including category definition, duration, and scope—will be clearly outlined before work begins to ensure alignment and clarity.

TERRITORIAL EXCLUSIVE LICENSE

A territorial exclusive license provides your brand with exclusive rights to use a design within a specified geographic region, such as North America, the EU, or Australia. During the license period, no other company within your designated territory may use the artwork, giving your brand a distinct market advantage in that region.

I retain full copyright ownership, and exclusivity applies only to the outlined territory. This means the design may still be licensed to companies operating in other regions unless otherwise agreed upon. All terms—territory, duration, and usage scope—are established in advance to ensure clarity.
